Zot Gastrobar, Rio de Janeiro

Zot Gastrobar is at the forefront of Copacabana's wave of hip hangouts, and puts as much emphasis on its culinary offering as it does on its chic decor and extensive drinks list. Since its opening in March 2012, the bar has attracted lengthy queues on weekend evenings, with the city's young and fashionable clamoring to try recommendations from the wine list, accompanied by such novelties (for this city) as a taster selection of goats cheese. There are more substantial dishes on the menu too, with the menu changing regularly according to the season.
