José Luis Sánchez opened this place in the style of a typical European tavern/bar, and it stands out mainly for the wide variety of beers on offer and the size of the bar itself.

I loved this place when I lived in Santiago, the beer is some of the best you'll find anywhere in the city, far better than the mass produced domestic Chilean beers or imported beers for that matter. It was nice because it was really large so unlike most bars in the city it actually has smoking and non smoking sections, which for a non smoker living in Santiago is awesome. Although like the info says you can take linea 5 to the irarrazaval stop then head up avenida irarrazaval to get there, I would actually recommend taking linea 4 to the plaza egana stop if you are coming from the providencia or las condes neighborhoods. Once out of the subway you can hop on a bus just outside the station and the bus will drop you off right in front of the bar in about 3 minutes.... Read More
