'Los martes del Claustro' is an interactive session for management and curators to check ways of how to keep up the cultural heritage of the museums of the city. At this meet, there will be talks and exchanges of discussions of the professional and top management professionals who operate museums in the country of Columbia.

The building was originally the home of Augustinian monks. Previously know as the Museo de Artes y Tradiciones Populares, the building and the collection were turned over to National University of Colombia in 2006. Today it offers a wide collection of handicrafts from all over the country. The number of exhibits gives an idea of the diversity and richness of Colombian craft work. The museum contains two exhibition rooms and an auditorium. Admission is free for all visitors.
