  When my daughter and I arrived, the owner requested an immediate signature for an open credit card account and then proceeded to say, "by the way, the room has no electricity and do not know when there will be electricity". We were taken by surprise because the bar area must of been the only area with a backup generator. It became obvious that the owner wanted my signature before I discovered there was no electricity in the rooms (grass huts). I found this very deceitful!!!! The owner's response was too bad for you because you already prepaid and there is no phone available for you to call the travel agency that booked your reservation. Needless to say, the owner created a hostile environment which escalated to very inappropriate and surprising behavior by the owner similar to a childhood bully. When my thirteen year old daughter and I were attempting to remove ourselves from this horrific experience, the owner jumped on my car but fell off and scrapped her ankle. Angry over her scrapped ankle, she called the police and ambulance and falsely claimed her ankles were broken. She fabricated a story that I had driven her over in a drunken stupor. Quite amazing since it was early morning and my thirteen year old and I had obviously not been drinking. So, her false accusation to the police, the ambulance or anyone who would listen was not taken very seriously. I assumed it only embarrassed her in front of any guest and/or local people that witnessed her behavior. Thus, even though the beach is pretty, there are numerous other hotels also close to beautiful beaches that would potentially offer a more pleasant and less deceitful experience....   Read More
