Palladinos Restaurante occupies the top floor of an important building located where the north-central area of Quito begins. Its interior decoration is pleasant and distinguished. Various lamps hang from the mudejar-styled ceiling, resembling hanging bunches of grapes. Fine details on the tablecloths and napkins decorate the small tables. The live piano music contributes to its very intimate atmosphere. This restaurant offers continental food, delicious red and white meats, as well as fish and seafood. The house specialty is the Langostinos en salsa de queso that you can accompany with a good wine. Don't forget to order a good aperitif before making your final selection: try an Amaretto with orange juice, or a good rum. For hors d'oeuvres, try the cheese specials with herbs and dressings. Enjoy a great view of the city and great service.
