Teatro 24 de Mayo, Quito

This theater is located in the north, near the main sports stadium of the city, Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa, and right on one of the busiest road arteries: Avenida 6 de Diciembre (also known as Ecovía). Fairly accessible, this place has a spacious auditorium where they show the latest international film releases. It is part of the Colegio Femenino 24 de Mayo, so various cultural events are also organized regularly by the city's colleges, such as performances by student bands, choirs, etc. Admission costs one dollar, and there is a small bar where you can purchase sodas, sandwiches and candy bars.
