Overview
This small church was rebuilt in 1993. It contains a vast collection of Baroque style images, including "Jesús del Pensamiento." During General Justo Rufino Barrios' term in office the monastery was expropriated by the liberal authorities and only the church remained. Mass services take place Monday to Saturday at 6pm and Sundays at 8:30a and 6:30p. Confessions take place daily at 3p.
