Nightowls and insomniacs rejoice! Just after the Lord of Miracles procession in Lima, the small city of Ica is host to another religious pilgrimage. Devotees from around the country flock to the town to honor the image of El Señor de Lumen, which is carried through town in a celebratory procession that lasts throughout the night. While you're in Ica, note that the region is also known for its vineyards. The Vista Alegre winery (off of Avenida Grau) is just outside of town, and is open to the public from 9am-5pm daily. The procession take every Monday at 6 p.m.
