Overview
Inaugurated in 1868 during the government of Don Jose Balta, this park has a prestigious history with its Palacio de la Exposicion (now known as the Museo de Arte de Lima) which was made possible by the efforts of our incipient industry. Since its restoration, this has become an ideal spot to take the family to enjoy nature and is a must for romantic spirits. Today you can walk through its gardens and imagine what it must have meant to the people of Lima to have built a place so large, and above all, so unique.
