It has a loyal and well-to-do clientele, since it is not only one of the most outstanding restaurants in Caracas, but also one of the most expensive. The atmosphere in Ara owes more to the premises themselves than to the decoration. The restaurant is on an open-air terrace located in one of the newest malls in the city. Dress is smart-casual, which fits the typical executive customers and other occasional diners. The atmosphere is delightful to enjoy on cool Caracas nights, particularly with the musical accompaniment of a string trio. This restaurant's main attraction is its nouvelle cuisine, with Japanese, French and Italian influences. This mélange prevents classification, although there are favorite dishes, such as the marinated salmon, cream soups, pasta dishes with original recipes and sushi.
