Azafran Cafa, Merida

This is a very popular cafe, especially among young people, and has a tropical atmosphere both in the colors and the lush decorative plants. It includes a small indoor space, as well as an outdoor terrace where you can gaze out over the surrounding mountains. Its menu includes Greek Salad, Shish Kabab, and "Panoticas," otherwise known as pitta bread with a meat or chicken fondue stuffing. Among desserts, the coffee-based Tiramisu at and the Lemon Pie are up to the most demanding palate. On weekends, a singer accompanying himself on keyboards, makes for an enchanting evening.
