Overview
Lake Thal or Thalersee as it is called in German is a lake in Thal, a suburb of Graz. Although this lake is not too large, it attracts tourists from all across the world because Thal is where Arnold Schwarzenegger passed his days as a child. The lake has cafes which are adorned by posters of Arnold, while the staff will gladly regale you with stories of how he used to come by the lake often. Pedal boats are available where one can have a leisurely row down the placid waters and feed the yellow ducks gliding by.
