Overview
Murinsel is a splendid architectural feat that was achieved when Graz was made the European Capital of Culture in 2003. Built upon a river and connected with two foot bridges, this floating structure is created in the form of a dome and a bowl. Constructed with the help of glass and metal, the center serves as an amphitheater for major local events. There's a cafe and a playground below the dome. The Murinsel can accommodate nearly 350 people at a time.
