Reblaus, Graz

Hans-Moser, the famous actor and Austrian, had no greater wish (as acclaimed in his famous song) than to become a Reblaus (literally, "vine louse"). Such a kafkaesque metamorphosis is, perhaps unfortunately, impossible to achieve, but a visit to the Reblaus, a traditional guest house in the city center, might be the closest one can get. Small, traditional snacks of the hearty kind and traditional drinks attract predominantly visitors in their twenties. After 10p, the place succumbs to the downtown nightlife and seats and tables are rarely in short supply. Reservations are possible for larger parties such as birthdays.
