Bären Pub, Innsbruck

Universitätsstrasse (University Street) does not lead towards today's main university, but to the old one, which now contains the Faculty of Theology - just steps away from the old town and from the regional theater. One of the many students' pubs that you can find here is the Bären Pub. On the one hand, the prices here are made to fit in with the clientele consisting mostly of students. This is a really snug place and one of the few ones whose atmosphere lives up to something like a "pub" - a lot of dark wood, a fine bar in the middle and even a tiled stove in the back...dangerously comfortable!
