Overview
Bergbaumuseum is a mining museum, founded in the historic city of Hall, approximately ten kilometers outside Innsbruck. It is a reproduction of the former salt mine in nearby Halltal, which was closed down in 1967. Through the authentic representation of the mines, with tunnels, pits, pushcarts and a drilling-machine, visitors get a real feel of how it would be, to be working underground. Please call for open hours.
