Overview
Located in St. Jakob's Cathedral, the Innsbrucker Dome dates back to the 1200s. Looming over quaint cottages and houses, the Dome can be seen for miles. Unique paintings depict images like snails, plants, birds, and grasshoppers. The interior of the church, including the dome, had to be rebuilt in WWII after a bombing. This church is the bigger of Innsbruck's two main churches.
