This restaurant's cuisine has been highly praised by the Initiative Tiroler Wirtshauskultur, a body which evaluates restaurants serving Tyrolean cuisine. The restaurant has a farm-like, friendly approach and offers its guests a culinary trip into the world of delicious local cuisine with dishes such as Warm Beef in Pumpkinseed Oil and Apple Balsamic Vinegar or Schlutzkrapfen (similar to ravioli, filled with cheese and spinach) with chive and topped with grated cheese. The fish dishes are of particular note; try the Fillet of Perch with vegetables and a horseradish sauce. You can get a Blauen Zweigelt from Pfanner & Gutmann's private cellars by the carafe or a Gr eltliner by Harlad Haimer in Poysdorf. A great place to go after a trip on the Hungerburgbahn; its station is 10 minutes away.
