Overview

Restaurant Seegrube stands on the Nordkette at a spectacular height of 1,900 metres above sea level. The architecturally linear, 1920's building now houses a restaurant. From its terrace, guests can take in a spectacularly breathtaking view of Innsbruck, and the snow-capped mountaintops of the Central Alps. Friday evenings in the Seegrube are devoted to Tyrolean specialities; there's dancing and every week they offer a different four-course dinner. On these nights, the last Nordkettenbahn train leaves at 11:30p. Alternatively, you can also stay the night in the adjoining hotel. Call to check for timings.
