Limerick Bill's Irish Pub, Innsbruck

Limerick Bill's is a large Irish pub situated at the Northern end of Maria-Theresien-Strasse, just opposite the entrance to the old town. Inside, you find a small cellar where live concerts take place every now and then, a very large area on the first floor, another the same size on the second floor, and small corners everywhere where people can take a break from the crowd. The massive, heavy furnishings made of dark wood make it difficult to determine what's supposed to be the Tyrolean element and what's the Irish; however, a pint of Guinness or a good whiskey ordered at the bar restores the usual Irish-pub atmosphere. Often features live music.
