O'Malley's Irish Pub, Salzburg

A cool pint of Guinness or Kilkenny at the Salzach? Sounds a bit out of place, but it's possible! The Rudolfskai, right on the Salzach, is the home of the O'Malley's Irish Pub, a place that plays an important role in Salzburg's nightlife. It's interior, as the name suggests, looks very much like a pub from the British or Irish Isles. Comfortable seating, two bars, an unbelievable variety of drinks (especially beer and whiskey of all sorts) and friendly, English speaking staff make every visit a pleasure. And the menu rounds it all off: up to 9pm the visitor can tuck into "Irish Stew" and various toasts. Bottoms up! Opens at 6pm and runs late into the night.
