Paul Ausserleitner Schanze is one of the noted skiing spots in the city of Bischofshofen. The slope was named after Paul Ausserleitner, a jumper who passed away on this site in 1952 due to a fall. The skiing slope has witnessed many competitions where the sportsmen have shown the most impressive stunts and also is one of the venues for the FIS Ski jumping World Cup. Winters bring out the beauty of the slope as the white snow makes it look even more appealing.
