Café Kunsthalle / Cafe Art Gallery, Vienna

In the middle of the Karlplatz, where one would least expect it, there is a very pleasant spot to escape it all. Cafe Kunsthalle is located behind the yellow square-shaped Kunsthalle building and is half enclosed in glass roofing with an outdoor seating area for summertime. It is easy to forget the passing traffic amongst the trees and with the sound of crunching gravel. Cafe Kunsthalle is also a popular place to meet in the evenings, especially amongst the students of the nearby Technical College. Once evening falls, the music is in the hands of the cafes DJs whose tunes are broadcast outside on the speaker system.
