Here, the owners serve only wine from their own vineyards. The family Wagner has a 300-year-old tradition of wine making. You can visit their wine cellar; you only have to ask politely. Josef Wagner was the last chief of the auxiliary fire-brigade of Heiligenstadt. The thick walls, the wooden beams and the rooms on three different levels prove that it is a very old building. During the summer you can sit outside, even when it is raining; there is a fine the colonnade. For children, there is a really great playground. A traditional buffet is served with different soufflés, roasts and cakes.
