Michail Jurowski, the Tonkünstler's Guest Music Director, presents three masterpieces from his home country. Glinka’s sweeping overture serves as a prelude to Tchaikovsky’s violin concerto – one of the most popular of all time. Mussorgsky’s vivid Pictures at an Exhibition finishes the lively program with a wealth of musical impressions.
