This Italian Renaissance style palace was built in 1863 by Archduke Ludwig Viktor. He summoned the architect Heinrich von Ferstel, who was famous after the building of the Votivkirche. The palace was finished in 1869, and today this building acts as the second stage of Vienna. It is an intimate theater with only about 200 seats.
