Overview
The museum derives its name from its pioneer Ludwig van Beethoven who lived in the house for eight long years. Hence, Pasqualati Haus is also known as Beethoven's Apartment. Many of his great works have emerged in this very house such as the 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th symphonies. His all time acclaimed opera 'Fidelio' which illustrates his life and struggles is also accredited to Pasqualati Haus. Browse through all the famous items and documents but it may be a little difficult for English speaking tourists, as everything is written in German.
