Theater m.b.H., Vienna

You step through an ordinary door, walk down an ordinary corridor, find yourself in a pretty courtyard, until you can spot the cellar which accomodates this small theater. The stage claims only limited liability, that's what the abbreviation "m.b.H." means, but performances are great! It hosts contemporary plays by European authors, mainly first nights. The focus is on demanding, often political themes. The director himself, Alexander Waechter, participates in the performances, with good reasons, he's an inspired actor! Quite often you will see standing ovations for the performers and the mise en scène.
