Toogenblik, Brussels

Unlike the other hole in the wall bars and nightclubs where music is simply an inane cacophony of strings strumming vicariously and heads banging till they rip off, at Toogenblik; music is anything but this. Albeit they too have their share of creative Boo Boo moments but Toogenblik has it all sorted out and ready to set your mood like they always have. The music is a fusion of contemporary and classic and the musicians are an eclectic mix of talents unlimited. So here you might as well hear a note from Bach's symphony easily fused into post-modern Jazz or Rock and still find it cool. The only sad part is wish they would keep it open for a lot more days. Apart from Wednesdays, the place is also open on Fridays when there is a concert.
