Church of Saint Roch is one of the oldest churches in the Žižkov district of Prague. It was built between 1680 and 1682 and is known till date for its architectural beauty. During the plague epidemic that hit Prague in 1680, the church functioned as a cemetery church. Today, the church is not only visited as a place of worship but also for the marvelous edifice that it is. It also hosts a gallery that showcases exhibitions of renowned artists of the city.
