This lovely High Baroque style building, Šternberský Palác (Sternberg Palace), was initially built as a noble residence. Presently, Šternberský Palác (situated within the castle grounds) is now a National Gallery exhibition space that features European art dating from the antique era to the end of the Baroque period. The most captivating are the 545 copperplate engravings from the 20th Century that catch every eye. Call ahead to know more as hours vary seasonally.
