Overview

Despite the name ofAmsterdamCafé, this is more a restaurant than a café, a nice and cozy place close to Nyhavn. Specialising in Dutch cuisine, this restaurant is the only one of its kind in Copenhagen (and most likely in all of Denmark). Dutch sauerkraut with smoked sausage, pork and mustard, steamed mussels with three cold sauces or goat's cheese pie are some of the specialties of the house. At Amsterdam you have the opportunity to choose from a good selection of Dutch and Belgian beers, among these Chimay, Hoegaarden Wit (draught) and Leffe. The kitchen closes at 22:30.
