Kaffesalonen, Copenhagen

Kaffesalonen is a café situated by the Lakes, with a style reminiscent of the 'good old' 50s. Especially all the old adverts make you feel as if you were in an old film. The clientele consists mainly of locals, but in the summer when you can sit outdoors, you will find all sorts of people drop by. They serve a cheap breakfast from 8am, with fresh bread, eggs, jam and cheese. It is a nice place to start off the day, enjoying the view of the Lakes and the early joggers and dog-walkers. For lunch you can have a really Danish treat, as they have many kinds of smrrebrd. Dinners are Danish as well, although they also have international dishes.
