Eesti Vabaõhumuuseum or the Estonian Open Air Museum is home to 18th-20th-century-old Estonian buildings. The architecture is definitively peasant, with a lot of wooden and stone barns. Farm buildings, windmills and water mills from different ages are on display. The folk holidays are the best time to visit, as they are celebrated with traditions that date back to the Middle Ages.
