Inaugurated in the year 2000, Sonera Stadium is the most amazing football stadium in Helsinki. Home to the Helsinki Jalkapalloklubi (popularly known as the HJK Helsinki), this stadium has seen some amazing football matches including the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship. The magnificently large stadium has a capacity to seat almost 10,770 spectators at any given time. The 2009 UEFA Women's Championship is also slated to be held in this very stadium. Check out Sonera Stadium not just for the games but also for the sheer grandeur of the structure.
