Overview
Kluuvi district is located between the central railway station and the Kaisaniemi metro station. Aleksanterinkatu, Mikonkatu, Pohjois-Esplanadi and Kluuvikatu offer tourists everything in shopping facilities from clothes boutiques and souvenirs to all sorts of restaurants. In this central area you will also find many banks, Kluuvi shopping centre, Kämp Galleria shopping centre, Stockmann department store, the Senate Square and Helsinki University. Many of the city's best-known nightclubs, Maxim Cinema and the Old Student House offer entertainment in the area.
