Lemon Grass, Helsinki

Lemon Grass is a lovely little Thai restaurant in the heart of Kallio. Even for a local restaurant, the prices are affordable, and the food tastes amazing! Lemon Grass is a very welcome change to the mass of Chinese restaurants in the area. The menu offers a wide assortment of dishes to choose from, including plenty of vegetarian options; and soup always accompanies your meal at lunchtime. Because Lemon Grass doesn't have an alcohol license, there unfortunately don't offer any Thai beers. The restaurant has easily become a favorite for locals, usually packing the restaurant in the early afternoon. So if you decide to sit down for a Lemon Grass lunch, you might have to wait for your dish a bit longera meal well worth the wait! - Tuuli Tammenkoski
