Overview

Soul Kitchen is located in the colorful Kallio area and is one of the spiffiest eateries in the vicinity. The menu includes soups, salads and grilled delicacies with Cajun influences, but they also have a special Kallio menu offering legends of Finnish home-cooking. Despite the somewhat grim facade, the interior of Soul Kitchen is cozy and suitable for both laid-back dining or just socializing over drinks. On weekend evenings, they have DJs playing groovy soul, funk, boogie and ska tunes. Summer terrace opens from June to August. - Kati Hurme
