Since the 1930's, this restaurant has been serving hungry locals and today has somewhat of a legendary status in Cannes. The menu at Mère Besson changes every day of the week. It's L'Estouffade à la Provençale on Mondays and L'Aïado on Tuesdays. Relish some great bourride (fish) on Wednesdays and Le Lapereau Farci aux Herbes de Provence on Thursdays. On Friday, it's time for L'Aïoli (traditional Provençal garlic dish) and Saturdays L'Osso Buco. Sundays mean Le Gigot d'Agneau au Tian (lamb).
