Overview
The Basilique Saint Victor was founded in the 5th Century by Saint Cassien and was housed inside a fortified Abbey. The excavations at the site revealed a Greek quarry, and Hellenistic necropolis belonging to the 2nd Century B.C.E. What remains of the remaining church is the walls and Tour d'Isarn as well as several sarcophagi inside the crypt.
