La Mirabelle Park, Marseille

Built in the 1980's in the heart of Marseille, Parc de la Mirabelle transforms itself into a festive jungle during summer when cultural events including jazz, dance, theater, opera, readings, film screenings and food & wine festivals are held here. The park was allowed to regain its natural slope which facilitated an excellent exposure, especially during staged events where everyone got a good view. On non event days, families come by with their children who can run amok in the well designed recreational spaces. A bar on the premises, allows one to sit back and enjoy the old world charm of a park and its century old trees.
