Located in the Château-Gombert district, north-east of the city, this museum was established in 1928 by Julien Pignol, a Provençal poet anxious to preserve local tradition. A permanent exhibition of everyday objects, furniture and costumes offers a fascinating exposé of local customs between the 17th-19th centuries. The exhibits at Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires provide its visitors a complete insight into the rich culture and day to day life of the people of this region.
