The Naka is a Japanese and Korean restaurant in the eighth arrondissement of Marseille, between the beach and César’s famous Le Pouce sculpture (the big thumb on the roundabout). It is very Zen and nicely decorated in a cozy, lounge style. Even if the service is pretty average and not super friendly, the dishes are fine and tasty. There is sushi, sashimi, salads, yakitori and more – all to eat in or to go. The terrace is pleasant but can get a bit noisy, as it is beside a road through which many cars pass.
