Overview
The FRAC (Regional Contemporary Art Fund), an association co-funded by the regional council for Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and the Ministry of Culture, was set up in 1982 with the purpose of buying, exhibiting and circulating contemporary art works. With an annual budget of million of francs, the FRAC aims to build up a living patrimony for the region, made up entirely of original works. An emphasis on new creations allows us to reflect on today's art through disciplines as diverse as sculpture, drawing, painting and even video.
