Takosan, Marseille

This tiny restaurant in the heart of the Panier neighborhood offers a feast of traditional Japanese cuisine. Takosan is well known for its specialty: takoyaki! They are traditionally octopus-based bite-sized balls of batter covered with sauce and tasty condiments. They originate from the city of Osaka in Japan. At Takosan they are also prepared with vegetables, cheese or shrimp. Takosan offers many other surprises like sushi or green tea mochi for dessert.
