Grand Café des Arts, Nice

The Grand Café des Arts will appeal to all lovers of culture, as it is situated just between Nice's theater and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. Its sunny terrace is particularly pleasant, and from here you can admire the architecture of both the theater and the museum (built entirely from Carrara marble), as well as several huge sculptures by such sculptors as Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle. Sitting out here, you will completely forget that you're in a big city. Inside the café, there is always an exhibition dedicated to the work of one artist. You may eat a simple snack or a full meal, which is just as tasty but a bit more substantial.
