Théâtre de la Traverse, Nice

An up and coming, innovative theatre. No strict annual schedule; plays here stick around as long as the public wants to see them; and generally, that means a very long time. There are roughly 4 different plays presented each year. To say that they're all 'different' is an understatement. Here, one can very well go from dinner theatre or a performance about Provence, a theatrical adaptation of Jacques Prevert's poetry or street theatre. Of note: an attached theatre library featuring plays and scripts published by éditions de la Traverse. Tickets are EUR13 (EUR10 reduced price).
