Overview

In 1980, an old police station was converted into a new theater venue: the Théâtre de la Comédie Italienne. The concept behind this theater is to bring Italian works to the French stage, a goal which it met with such success that the venue was expanded in 1991. All the pieces staged here, both classic and contemporary, are written by Italian playwrights and performed in French. Workshops, classes, and conferences are also held at this location.
