  While staying in the hotel Mercure, rue Brey in Paris in March 2011, I had the surprise of having my room "visited" and some valuables robbed. The first feedback for the hotel staff was that the doors were quite easy to open. And the second feedback from the management, after implying that I was lying, was to consider that their responsibility was not involved and that the loss was not to be covered by their insurance.
