Monsieur Le Prince, Paris

In a chic district located between Luxembourg and Sorbonne, the restaurant-bistro Monsieur Le Prince serves a refined and bourgeois French cuisine. The decoration is rather classy and contemporary; paintings hang on grey walls. The chef, Benjamin Patrier, has worked in several starred restaurants in France. His cuisine, contemporary as well, respects the French tradition: salads with vegetables fresh from the market and beetroot vinaigrette, poultry cooked with vin jaune (a white wine, literally ‘yellow wine’) and morels, cod and hot camembert, fried squid, French toast, and a dessert made with clementines.
